The fine addicts over at Crackberry got themselves a pre-release BlackBerry Javelin, and found it to be a worthy follow-up to the Curve, as well as having advantages even over the schmancy-pants Bold. The Javelin is not only the smallest of the three, which feels great in the hand and the pocket, but also boasts the sharpest screen at 480x360 HVGA+, for smaller and crisper icons. The camera, processor, and internal memory all get a significant bump from the Curve, making it noticeably snappier. In terms of navigation, the keyboard is very slightly more condensed, but the reviewer finds it just as easy to use. But the biggest improvement might be the smallest - a dedicated Lock button. We still don't have an official release date or price, but the pre-release review is a happy hint that it might come out sooner rather than later.

The Black Box Concept Phone by BenQ Siemens
The interesting concept phone from BenQ Siemens. Similar to a concept phone call BenQ Siemens Ruby , the Black Box uses a touch screen as its keypad. Depends on the functions you are using, the touch screen change the control layout immediately.

LG KE850 Mobile Phone with Touch Screen LG Electronics and Prada today unveiled the KE850 touch screen mobile phone. LG and Prada have worked closely together on every aspect of the KE850, from handset development to marketing combining the detail and quality of Prada design with the technological innovation of LG Electronics.
Prada's involvement extends beyond exterior aesthetics to the key elements of the user experience such as the advanced touch interface, ring tones, pre-loaded content, mobile phone accessories and the exclusive leather case, inspired by the classic Italian craftsmen tradition.
The Prada Phone by LG introduces the world's first advanced touch interface which eliminates the conventional keypad making the overall usage experience a highly tactile one. An extra wide LCD screen maximizes visual impact, allowing the user to benefit from several key features of the phone, including the 2.0-megapixel camera featuring Schneider-Kreuznach lens, video player and document viewer capacity.
Glowing icons on the face of the phone disappear when not in use to reveal a pure, un-adulterated black exterior. The phone is ultra thin (just 12 mm), hosting an array of additional multimedia functions including an MP3 player and a music multi-tasking function for messaging. It also boasts an external memory slot, allowing the user to increase memory capacity for images, music and film clips.
The LG Prada Phone will be available with prices starting from 600 Euros in mobile dealerships as well as selected Prada stores in the UK, France, Germany and Italy as of late February, 2007, followed by countries in Asia such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore from late March, 2007. The Korean version of the phone is scheduled to launch in the second quarter of 2007.

Asus announced their latest WinMo Pro handset - the Asus P552w - a compact device that not only features the latest Asus-grown 3D UI Glide, but also packs a powerful CPU, as well as both GPS and Wi-Fi. This nifty device seems to have almost all goodies you could wish for, except for a capable camera (just as an Apple handset we've heard about - called the iPhone or something).
Named after a supersonic fighter jet plane Asus P552w is powered by a fast Marvel 624Mhz CPU and has 128MB of RAM. (We were just kidding about the fighter jet thing - but we had you there for a second, right? Don't worry, the new Asus device name is so complex that it could have been a fighter jet alright.)

Sony Ericsson's Idou has made it into the wild once again these days, with a wide range of images with the device available on the Web. Among the photos with the handset, the ones that might catch your attention a little are those that show the device dressed in silver.
Most of the info on Sony Ericsson's device has been already presented in the news, and there are not too many striking new things that need to be said this time around, except maybe for the stylus dongle that can now be seen in some of the new photos. The mobile phone was unveiled last month during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, and hasn't become available on the market yet, but the new set of photos could make some enthusiasts rejoice, as would the device itself.
Most of you might already know that Idou is expected to come to the market featuring a 12-megapixel photo snapper, while also including a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, only to name some of the impressive features it will sport. One interesting fact though about Sony Ericsson Idou is that this might not be its final name after all, yet no details in this direction are available at the moment. The handset that can be seen in the photos published by Fony seems to be running under S60 5th edition developed for touchscreen handsets, but this is not the final Symbian platform that Idou is expected to include upon hitting the market, which might suggest that the new operating system is not yet ready for showcasing.
Other new things that might be said about the device at the moment include a word on its battery, which seems to be a 1000 mAh Li-Po one, and on the phone's user interface, which shows some tweaking, like the Media center and the picture gallery. And while the camera of the pre-release unit that was snapped by the guys from Fony is said to only produce 9-megapixel samples, the final product is expected to turn into a great shooter.
